19h15 : Dream Catcher

(Groupe luxembourgeois)
Dream Catcher is the solo project of the former singer of the group T42, John Rech. In 1997, he created the project « Dream Catcher » of which the initial purpose was obvious and simple: escape from the world of « T42 » and play concerts with friends. At that moment, nobody considered making recordings. But after a tour, the mini album « Happy in my tree house » got recorded and the title song was welcomed by the Luxemburg radio stations with great enthusiasm. Even today, the song is one of their biggest
hits.
In 2003, John and Eric Falchero write the theme song for the campaign “Télévie” and the single “Deng Hand”, which was immediately certified “gold”, is still today the main song for the campaign.
In 2006, Dream Catcher got out an album called “Sunny Days” which offers, apart from several confirmed hits in Luxemburg (“Verluer”), the magnificent single “Sunny Days” which was sold in profit of the campaign Télévie as well as real gems as “Au Flamingo Rose” and “La Plume”. The other songs of the album reflect multiple influences, as well as the linguistic and multi-cultural situation in Luxemburg. The album is followed by a tour in Luxemburg, Germany and the United States, with as highlights opening concerts for Sting, Ezio and Gentleman as well as 3 concerts in New York.
Dream Catcher are currently working on their new album which will be available at the Nuit Celtique in Attert.

At the Eurovision Song Contest of May 2003 in Latonia, Urban Trad won the heart of the grand public. “Sanomi”, a song interpreted in an imaginary language, earned them second place.
After that, they had one success after the other: all over Europe, the United States … This multi-cultural folk ensemble in vogue offers an exciting and forceful show that can’t be compared to the traditional urban music.
An undeniable second top of the bill. Hard to define but definitely magnificent !!!
