TRI YANN is a group that can be conjugated in all tenses !
By traditional texts and the use of Celtic and medieval instruments, by the continuous presence of its founding members (JOSSIC, COBINEAU, CHOCUN), the group is respectful of the past.
By merging musics of today (jazz, rock, world music), and themes addressed in their CDs, TRI YANN is a very current group and not at all "has been"
Thirty-seven years have passed and TRI YANN is now the oldest French group.They never split during their career. "Le loup, le renard, la belette" and "La jument de Michao" were privileged witnesses "Si mort a mors" and "Les prisons de Nantes" are two of the highlights.
TRI YANN (20 albums including a dozen certified gold) is 3 000 000 of Brittany records on the five continents. It is also more than 2000 concerts, the Stade de France and the major international festivals.
TRI YANN is also a surprising concert, a rock ‘celtitude’ where samples meet with bagpipes and where the delirious costumes dress the baroque music dream.
